• Another series of one-day regional seminars on the business implications of the Single Market is being arranged by the Freight Transport Association, HM Customs & Excise and the Simpler Trade Procedures Board.
They are being held on 24 March at Birmingham, 25 March at Heathrow, 7 April at Haydock, 8 April at Doncaster, 9 April at Ipswich, 12 May at Reading, 13 May at Cardiff and 14 May at Bournemouth.
Topics include the movement of goods, VAT, and Customs changes. Tickets cost £165 (ex-VAT) which includes lunch and seminar papers.
