BRITAIN'S MUNICIPAL bus undertakings are to join the Local Government Training Board.
The bus operating industry was until last year in scope for the Road Transport Industry Training Board, and was recently invited to join the LGTB, The LGTB is to establish a training committee for passenger transport which is expected to include representatives of the Federation of Public Transport Employers, local authority associations and trade unions.
An initial steering group has been formed.
