CUMMINS ReCon is introduc improvements and extensil to its range of reconditioned gines and components.

The range covcrs all fami Cummins automotive engii including the NH220, NHC2 NT240/250,, NTE290/350 and 10-litre as well as the VT504 555 units.

All these reconditioned gines are covered by a new months unlimited mileage IA ranty with a typical exchar price being £3,700 for t NTE290.

There are also changes to ReCon scheme relating to number of items on the old gine which have to be sound fore it is accepted by Cummi ReCon now only specifies t the block, sump, flywheel housing should not be cracl or broken.

Similarly, the crank and cE shaft must be sound and s able for reconditioning.

Operators of 14-litre NHC, and NTE engines can now change cracked cylinder ha for new units for £200 per hi (less valves).

Components available fr ReCon include injectors, wz pumps, fuel pumps, comp, sors, turbochargers and cylin heads.

The ReCon long block change scheme continues operation. Cummins claims equates to most compan short engine scheme.

It is a complete block with working interior, gear cover gears and heads complete v valves, springs and injectors.
