Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Institute of Road Transport Management aims to provide members and their employers with a wide range of support and practical services to help improve standards of professionalism and commercial expertise.

To this end, the Institute has drawn up an educational sylla bus to allow future managers a higher standard of training than the current Certificate of Professional Competence requirement.

A study course is already under way and, depending on examination results, a CPC exemption will be applied for by the Institute. The course will then be offered to all interested colleges.

Proposed legislation will be looked into by the Institute to notify the Government of problems likely to be encountered by transport management.

A good response to the needs of such an Institute was gained and over 75 per cent of those consulted joined, resulting in a current membership of 200. Anyone employed or seeking employment in road transport management hire or reward or own account can apply for membership from the secretary at Mercantile House, 99 St Leonards Road, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 3BX.
