Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FIRE APPLIANCES based on Ford's six-ton A-series chassis are now being offered to fire departments by G and T Fire Control Ltd of Gravesend in Kent.

The vehicle, known as the Attack, is powered by Ford's Essex three-litre (183cuin) petrol engine and the gearbox is a ZF five-speed design. A top speed of more than 112km/h (70mph) is claimed, which should make the appliance ideal for tackling motorway emergencies.

The fire pump is a Godiva UMP MK 50 driven from a gearbox mounted Chelsea pto capable of delivering up to 2,730 lit/min (600gpm). There is a 682-litre (150gal) water tank and two hose reels, each of which is fitted with 55m (180ft) of high-pressure delivery hose. The bodywork consists of a rigid welded box section frame construction and includes full-length shutters and a rear locker compartment. The standard wheelbase is 3.3m (10ft 10in) but available options include wheelbases of 3.68m (12ft lin) and 4.0m (13ft) and a 3.5-litre (213cuin).
