vehicle powered by a RollsRoyce Eagle Mk III rated at 164kW (220bhp) supplied to the Ministry of Defence has been fitted with a Multilift container handling system for army assessment.
Initially, the vehicle will be used for carrying ammunition pallets. It will be tested for nine months in Britain before going to Germany for more trials with the British Forces.
The Multilift system is specifically designed and built to pick up and set down at ground level containers carrying up to 20 tons.
