GREY-GREEN Coaches have won the first round in their fight to stop road service licences unused for 14 years being used to encroach on their established routes.

The victory came at an inquiry by the Metropolitan Traffic Commissioners last week when they upheld objections to licences issued up to 30 years Grey-Green told the Cornago to Chas. W. Beeline's application was to consolidate the old licences and run the services in competition with Grey-Green who objected with its associated company, Orange Luxury Coaches, and also National Travel (South East). threaten its express services to Margate and Ramsgate and to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
