Cartridge hammer

The OBO KX cartridge fixing tool from the Douglas Kane Group Ltd is, it is claimed, the easiest one to use for long periods.

It is light, well balanced and incoporates a special shock and, having a dissipation chamber to disperse its noise and gases gradually, has exceptionally low recoil and noise levels.

The tool will not operate without one at first pushing the nose of the barrel hard against the part to be fastened. Therefore accidental dropping of the tool or inadvertent pressing of the trigger will not displace fixing nail or stud. Although light, it will withstand severe commercial use with minimal servicing requirements.

The nose of the barrel is tapered permitting easy fixing in tight corners, corrugations and channels. Adapters are available for special applications. All cartridges, fixing pins and studs are interchangeable with the OBO K-5 tool and the KX is housed in a strong metal carrying case with room for cartridges, nails, studs, etc. Made by: Douglas Kane Group Ltd, Swallowfields, Welwyn Garden City, Herts.
