Drivers on services to the Continent should not be without a copy of a new 1971 touring publication—the RAC Continental Handbook and Guide to Western Europe—which is now available.
The book provides an authoritative and valuable aid to travellers and includes full-colour touring maps and maps showing direct routes, details of garage and repair facilities, and up-to-date timetables for sea, air and hovercraft services.
With 672 pages it lists 4000 hotels including 1200 RACappointed establishments.
Among other features are "pull-out", mileage distance charts, metric conversion tables, international road signs and helpful scale maps of Western European centres.
