EQUIPNIENT in the 'Blackhawk Dozer range is marketed by Applied Power Industries for body-damage repairs on light vehicles. This includes frame gauges, a diamond detector gauge and what is called the Tram-Trak gauge for use on body and wheel alignment work. The frame gauges (EK-304) are supplied in sets of three; they are self-centring and fully adjustable w.th removable mountings. Chrome pins are used for easy sighting and graduated hexagonal hanger rods are incorporated.

The Slackhawk diamond detector gauge is made to fit on the top or bottom of the selfcentring gauges. This gives additional means of detecting diagonal distortion in bodies and diamond damage which might not be evident when using other types of gauge. A feature of this gauge is the ease with which it can be attached to the selfcentring gauge.

The Tram-Trak gauge (EK-326) produced by this company is for checking chassis and frame dimensions to ensure complete alignment or to measure accurately the degree of distortion before any straightening work. This gauge assembles in lengths of 2 ft. 8 in., 5 ft. and II ft. 21n. for measuring most sizes of van.
