Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Manchester Road, Hyde, nr. Manchester.

TWO welding machines—a spot welder and an ac. arc welder—from the Triangle range of equipment are recommended for use on vehicles.

The Triangle Minx 180 arc welder will handle electrodes up to 6 s.w.g. and has a dual-output voltage range of 55 V and 85 V which allows the use of cast iron, manganese and other alloy rods. Current output on the 55 V output range is 50 to 180 amp., and the unit is mounted on rubber wheels to make it fully mobile.

The Monoflex spot welder is specifically designed for the motor trade, and when the work can be approached from both sides the normal pincer-type welding head is used. This weighs about II lb. and, having a welding reach of 7 in., is useful for replacing roof or internal pressings in bodies. When box sections or difficult areas are involved, spot welding can be carried out with a twinprod attachment. This weighs a few pounds only and produces two welds at each depression of the switch.
