Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

/0B1LE lubricating equipment and wall-almounted installations are manufactured by Laycock and marketed under the names Lubay and Autolube. The only items in the Autolube range are mobile grease and oil dispensing pumps, the standard model having four reservoirs—two for grease and two for oil—with capacities of 12 lb. and 10 pints each respectively. The whole unit rotates on its base, allowing the reservoir with the required lubricant to be locked on to the air motor and allowing one air motor to operate the unit. The larger LaycockAutolube model is the Triplex, which has three reservoirs, each with a capacity of 22 lb. of grease or 17 pints of oil. This model also operates from a normal air supply, and the containers are rotated so that the air motor can be located on the one to be used.

The Lubay lubrication equipment is of a more attractive appearance than the Autolube and, in the smaller units, includes a mobile grease unit which has a base on three wheels capable of accepting a 1-cwt, grease keg. A square cabinet carrying the pumping unit at its top fits over the keg. Any length of hose in multiples of 5 ft. is supplied, and two delivery ratios-40 or 70 to I —are obtainable. A mobile oil unit is to the same general design; it can accommodate a 10-gal. drum and has an airoperated pump with a ratio of 3-5 to 1. These pump units are used to make up service trolleys marketed by Laycock. Various combinations are offered and as well as grease and oil, a penetrating oil service can be included, the penetrating oil being contained in a pressurized tank which operates at 150 p.s.i. Accessories for the grease pump unit include a follower plate which overcomes cavitation when heavy greases are used, and a recent version of the grease unit is one with 7-in, wheels which allow it to be used over rough ground.

The grease and oil pumps used in the mobile units are also employed for walltype installations carried out by Layeock. The dials and hose-outlet apertures can be mounted in a panel frame which carries hose reels on the inner surface. Installations to suit any requirements can be provided, and if attractiveness is important the hose outlets can be in Luxiglass coloured panels.

Plastics-covered hose reels for oil, grease and air, and suitable for floor, wall and ceiling mounting, are also made by Laycock, and the delivery meters used in Lubay installations can be supplied in boxes for wall or column fixing. For the disposal of waste oil, there is the Laycock air speed oil ejector, which is essentially a castor-mounted tank with a capacity of 18 gal_ and an extension stem to the drain bowl. When the container is full the contents can be transferred to storage tanks, by connecting an air line to an adapter incorporated in the unit.
