Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Bedford, Beds. A FULL range of lubrication equipment and accessories is made by Kismet. The Kismet Portable Chassis Lubricator has a pump unit giving a 50 to 1 pressure ratio and is of the completely-enclosed type with a base on four castors; it can accommodate drums up to 120 lb. capacity. There are two models—the KGS30 with a 6-ft. hose, and the KGS30A with a 12-ft. hose. Of the same general design is an oil dispenser with a 4 to 1 ratio pump for use with up to 10gal-capacity drums, This is also supplied with alternative hose lengths—the KGS31 with 6 ft., and the KGS31A with 12 ft.

The Kismet Multiluber KGS140 is a selfcontained mobile unit dispensing any three services—for example, one grease and two gear oil: or grease, gear and engine oil. It needs only one air line to he connected to the unit to operate all three pumps, the pumping units being mounted in the original drums supplied by the oil companies by means of special drum covers. The oil containers are mounted in a sided trolley with four rubber-tyred wheels and in addition to the lubrication services, a 20-ft. air line is incorporated complete with tyre-inflator gauge and penetrating oil spray gun. As with the oil-dispenser unit, nozzle meters can be supplied to show quantities of oil dispensed.

Other items for the lubrication bay manufactured by Kismet include waste-oil-disposal equipment, including swing-arm types for gravity disposal into an underground tank and the Drainomatic for automatic transfer of waste oil into a remote storage tank. The KW099 Portable Drainomatic is a wasteoil-disposal unit mounted on castors, and when full the contents can be transferred to a bulk storage tank by connecting an air line to the unit. There are also Kismet hose reels of two types—individual models which are encased in sheet-steel pressings, and simpler designs for use in Kismet CentreIsland and Wallflush installations.

The Centre-Island design has the reels mounted on the floor—there can be up to six services—and at the end is a swing-arm Drainomatic unit. The whole of the installation is covered in to make a neat layout_ The Wallflush system can be tailored to suit particular requirements. Single-, twinand triple-metering units are made and there are panels with up to nine outlets for lubrication hose-reel and so on. As is common with this type of installation, the hose reels are mounted behind the wall with the bulk storage tanks for lubricant and grease barrels, and the high-pressure grease pump and the medium-pressure oil pumps used in the portable lubricators are employed with different riser tubes to suit the higher. capacity containers.

A follower plate for use with grease pumps to prevent cavitation of heavy greases is amongst the accessories available.
