THE disc brake was satisfactory and Girling, Ltd., were now concentrating on reducing its cost. Mr. Alex Fraser, vice-chairman, and managing director of the company, made this statement last week.
To meet foreign competition, vehicle makers should standardize more, said Mr. Fraser. He observed that many vehicles on the roads today had poor braking and needed proper maintenance.
