has granted permission to five Sheffield operators to use two extra vehicles each for fishing excursions only.
The applicants were Mr. G. E. Whiteley, Mr. H. Jackson, Mr. E. Jeffcock, Law Bros., Ltd., and Sansom Bros. (Sheffield), Ltd. Mr. Jeffcock's grant applies to Sundays only, and the vehicles are to be operated to specified destinations agreed to by British Railways.
Sheffield United Tours, Ltd.. opposed all the applications (The Commercial Motor, February 19), and the railways all except that of Mr. Jeffcock.
