QRDERS for Leyland vehicles received from overseas since the current financial year began in October were nearly 300 per cent, more than in the corresponding period last year.

Nearly 300 vehicles have been ordered for India and Pakistan alone, and the joint Leyland-Albion organization in South Africa reports a 75-per-cent. increase over last year in the orders received. This figure represents an increase of 350 per cent, over that for 1952.
