YORK TRAILER Holdings has ported a group net loss £821,502 for the year ended comber 31, 1981, compared film net loss in the previf year.
Some of the reasons for improvement are said to be creased export sales (which counted for 34 per cent turnover), reduced bank born ing, and lower inventory.
Provisional figures for the I quarter of 1982 show a profi £230,000, and York hopes to this trend continue as the y progresses, noting that "sev peripheral manufacturers h ceased operations".
But, says York chairman F Davies: "We still have a Govi ment which is vacillating c gross weights for commed vehicles, thereby doing so m harm to all industry by the duced uncertainty."
