Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

From Sir Reginald Wilson Some time ago you published a letter which quoted me as saying in public that "the National Freight Corporation was not a nationalized body". Your correspondent went on to suggest that I should be had up under the Trade Descriptions Act for being guilty Of a mis-description.

We have engaged in a due amount of research here, but can find no such reference. I have frequently said, of course, that the NFC is not a nationalized industry, but this is a totally different thing. The Railways may be a nationalized industry, but road transport is not. This distinction is not a piece of pedantry or semantics; it h as funda mental consequences in the fields of policy relating to organization, pricing and so forth, and it is therefore a distinction which ought to be emphasized in all quarters both high and low. I am sorry if your correspondent was misled.
