• David Bush, of Hewitt Avenue, London N22, charged with making false statements between May 1968 and August 1969 for the purpose of obtaining a grant of a carrier's licence, was remanded on £100 bail for a further four weeks at Acton magistrates' court on May 20 (CM April 17 and 24).
Mr Bruce Weir, prosecuting on behalf
of the Ministry of Transport, asked for the adjournment because, he said, "several hundred documents" had been seized at the time of Mr Bush's arrest and these were still being examined. Summonses would be issued against other -co-conspiratorssoon.
It is understood that Mr Richard Yorke has been briefed to act as counsel for the Ministry.
