• From June 15 vehicles drawing trailers fitted with power brakes need no longer carry a second man. This concession follows from the Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) (No 2) Regulations 1970 laid before Parliament on Friday. This regulation also permits vehicles operating power take-off equipment to be left unattended with the engine running where this can be done safely.
