THE first trolleybus service to operate through the centre of Glasgow will commence on July 5. By the opening date, 30 trolleybuses will be available for the new service, which will extend from Clarkston in the south to Firhill in the north-west of the city. Changes in the existing motorbus and tram routes will be entailed.
