A N A.E.C. underfloor-engined coach with Windover bodywork, operated by Sheffield United Tours, Ltd., gained second place in the Montreux International Coach Rally. Special mention was made by the rally committee of the elegance and comfort of the vehicle, which gained 1,838 marks out of a possible 2,000.
The company have a worthy record in this event, having won it on twp occasions and come second twice. This year, the winner was an entry of the Swedish Linjebuss concern with 1,882 marks, including those awarded for travelling a distance greater than was possible for the S.U.T. coach.
