A MINISTRY OF SUPPLY ad ver/-t tisement in this issue draws attention to the country's urgent need of rubber, and an appeal is made for worn-out tyres and tubes to help to replace lost sources of supply. Attention is drawn to the fact that the enemy now holds 90 per cent. of the world's natural rubber resources, and guidance is given as to the way in which rubber salvage can be disposed of in the Nation's interest.

So far as garage owners are concerned, the Ministry of Works and Buildings will collect tyres and tubes when the county in which their premises are located is being cleared.
