Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• As expected, UPS has announced its acquisition of carrier Seabourne European Express Parcels from the Seabourne Express group. And another UK takeover is expected in the next few weeks.

The name Seabourne Express Parcels will eventually be phased out. All 400 staff, which includes 250 in the UK, and 13 depots will join UPS' UK network. The deal will give UPS 31 sites in the UK. Last year Seabourne Express Parcels had a £17m turnover. It has a fleet of 80 vehicles, a hub in Belgium, and its main headquarters are in Antwerp.

The remainder of Seabourne Express, which includes a contract-hire division, a courier firm and freight forwarding, is to he developed.

UPS is also negotiating the takeover of a French parcels firm.
