• Securiguard is on the acquisition trail again following last month's £3. 5m swoop on A-Z Couriers, the Londonbased van and motorbike despatch firm.
The company revealed this week that it is poised to take over another, smaller firm, but no further details have been released. "Securiguard is in a very expansive mood following record profits last year," says a spokesman for the firm, which is also parent to City Link Transport Holdings. A turnover of <£25m is projected for 1990/91.
