• The Ilogg Robinson Group's Dutch-based trailer operating subsidiary, Continental Cargo Carriers, is boosting its presence in Eastern Europe. Over the past six months CCC has seen a 15-20% increase in eastbound traffic from Holland, Germany and Belgium following its acquisition of Dutch haulage firm Weys Inter-Europa.

• A na deal to distribute Mitsubishi parts and accessories to 125 UK dealers has been won by BRS Western.
The contract will include a fleet of six vehicles and will operate side 1)57 side with an emergency delivery deal with NFC sister firm Lynx Express.
