• Cheshire County Council Trading Standards has taken delivery of a weighbridge testing industrial calibration unit on a Foden chassis. The 4000 series 8 x4 unit was delivered by Sandbach Truck Centre. It has a Caterpillar 3406B ATAAC 261kW (350hp) engine, coupled to a 13-speed transmission. It is fitted with a Hiab crane which has a 1.5 tonne test weight capacity at a 5m outreach. It has a short (5,750mm) wheelbase, so it can fit on to small weighbridge plates.
