• A new range of Sun quartz shortwave infra-red heaters is available from Redring Electric. They range in power from 1 to 6kW and can be wall mounted or suspended at a height of 3m.
The company claims that the units instantly project solar-type heat to ground level without disturbing dust. Radiant heat is not absorbed by air or damp atmosphere so the heat is only felt by people working in the projected heat zone without warming the surrounding area, says Redring.
