• Hofmann's SD-20 commercial vehicle wheel balancer is claimed to reduce tyre wear and fuel consumption.
The company says that out-ofbalance wheels can add over 1% to fuel bills, and the resulting forces can cause premature steering components failure. The SD20 FinishBalancer uses an infrared beam and digital display to indicate where balance weights need to be added.
