Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Stourbridge-based M and G Tankers has won a follow-up order, worth £1.25 million, for another 30 of its fibre-reinforced-plastic 38tonne petroleum spirit tank trailers for Shell.

The 36,000 litre capacity tanker semi-trailers will be based on M and G's existing FRP tank design, but incorporating the latest weight savings in laminate structures developed jointly with the Cranfield Institute of Technology.

The new Shell order will be supplied with either Tadchurch or Norde rubber suspension on Rubery Owen Rockwell tandem axles with Alcoa alloy wheels.

Unladen kerbweight for the lightest of the semitrailers, with all fittings, is 5,300kg, but M and G is actively developing a new lighter-weight version of the current FRP tandem axle tank trailer design which could have a kerbweight of around 5,100kg.

A number of M and G FRP tankers are currently being evaluated in the United States, Australia and South Africa which may result in licensing deals being set up with local manufacturers.
