ni A 21.8 million contract for the supply of fire tenders and associated equipment has been won by Locomotors of Andover.
The contract, placed by the London Fire and Civil Defence Authority, is for 27 Dodge G13 chassis with specially modified crew cabs, 22 front line pumping appliances supplied by Godiva, five demountable area control units and one command centre.
Locomotors will modify the Dodge cabs to provide accommodation for a full fire crew.
