Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SU-Butec has introduced an internally regulated, 32 amp, 24V alternator to meet the service requirements of operators using AC5 alternators.

The company says that, on the A 3024, two units interchange with most singleand double-spindle mounted 32 amp AC5-245s. This should simplify stocking.

The alternators are suitable for various vehicle makes including Foden, AEC, Scammell, Dodge, Dennis, Bedford, Atkinson, Guy, Seddon, ERF, and Ford.

In addition, the A 3024 is being fitted by Leyland Vehicles as original equipment to Clydesdale. Reiver and Chieftain lorries with 400-series engines.

The A 3024 is available through the SU-Butec network of over 150 distributors as a service exchange unit or for outright purchase. Both are covered by 12 months unlimited mileage warranty.

Recommended retail price for the service exchange unit is £72.
