THE carriage of goods on ownaacount between the UK and Italy was freed from all quota and permit restrictions from July 1, Although transport of ownaccount between the UK and Italy will be permit free, operators should carry an ownaccount document on the vehicle when in Italy. A form on which details can be listed can be obtained from the Freight Transport Association.
