Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE AUTHOR of this soft-cover book is an American and much of his text is devoted to experience gained with electric vehicles in the USA. The rest of the world is certainly not neglected, however.

Not only does Mr Shacket cover nearly all the electric vehicles (mostly cars) known to man, but he also includes a couple of explanatory chapters on battery and electric motor theory.

The book is well filled with photographs and diagrams although many of the former are photostat-type copies and as such have not reproduced all that well. But all in all this book fills a gap in the market, and I recommend it highly. G.S.M. The Complete Book of Electric Vehicles by Sheldon R. Shacket is published by Davidson Publishing Ltd, 109 Southampton Row, London WC18 4HH price £3.95.
