Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

servicing of a 1961 Morris diesel exambulance which has been converted for use as a bus for a local church? Where can a workshop manual for this model be obtained?

AFrom your address we presume that this ambulance was formerly operated by the Greater London Council (or its predecessor) and built in its own workshop. In that case we would not describe this model in CM because it would not be generally available in that particular form. But we did do a road test on the petrol-engined version in CM. June 14 1957. This would include some description but basically the ambulance you have would be the same as the BMC LD chassis, the main change being to the rear axle and suspension.

We suggest you write to BMC, Longbridge, Birmingham, or contact your local Austin or Morris distributor to get a workshop manual for the LD which would give you all the information you need about servicing, especially the diesel engine. A photostat copy of the road test, if needed, can be obtained from the Librarian, Temple Press Ltd., 40 Bowling Green Lane, London, EC1, price 2s 6d postage paid.
