considered in patent No. 774,708 which shows a seat adjustable in three directions to receive a driver of any build. (Leyland Motors Ltd., Suffolk House, Laurence Pountney Hill. London, E.C.4.) The seat frame is carried on its supporting structure by two cross-rods, an upper one (1) and a lower (2). The lower rod can be placed in any of the several notches in a pair of fixed side plates (3) whilst the upper one has a choice of two notches in a fore-and-aft direction in the side plates 4.
