The design may date back a decade. but the models' most recent facelift gave them new grilles, bumpers and mouldings. and underneath better soundproofing.
What defines it is its size; it sits in a category pretty much on its own. only really challenged by one or two stretched versions of smaller vehicles. Load volume is 4m3. a touch above a long wheelbase Transit Connect (3.7m3). A 1.9-litre diesel produces 71hp and a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel is rated at 110hp. Fiat goes its own way on this front. offering its 1.9-litre multi-jet rated at 105hp.
Payload varies from 815kg to 900kg and for variation there's also a window van, platform cab and Combi —two rows of seats. As for driving dynamics. it does feel a touch tired in its operation.
