Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The TGA tipper has been in the market for 18-months but hasn't made the impression the manufacturer would have liked. It's not that MAN hasn't got the weight down enough for the UK market—the BB version scales just over 9.0 tonnes allowing 2,800kg tor an aggregate body to still make at least a 20-tonne plus payload—it just hasn't made the necessary impact.

The reputation ol the 020 engine alone should mean operators taking a closer look, there are three options 350, 390 and 4,30hp, but in all fairness these type of vehicles are long term projects and don't get traded as often as tractors. It looks like its going to be a slow burner for the TGA tipper.

The cab position is very high, and its handling is first rate and it appears that MAN has learnt that broad 'European' design don't work over here. In time the TGA 8x4 should win a few more friends.
