A new naming policy means the range is now more rational. Up to 16 tonnes GVW. it is Atego, and Axor above, although a few Actros models still appear at the very top. All heavy distribution tnicks now come under the Axor model line-up and benefit from a recent makeover ol the 2.3m wide cab. A ninespeed manual transmission joins the line-up, saving 30kg over the old 12-speed box. Service intervals in Axor models have been extended to 120.000km.
