The market-leading 7.5-tonner LF45 continues to impress in roadtests and in market performance. The modern-looking cab—along with lightweight credentials—has ensured the LF45 remains a firm fleet favourite.
The range spans 7.5, 10.11 and 12 tonnes with a four-cylinder 3.9-litre or a six-cylinder 5.9-litre Paccar engine.
The 1F45 has one of the lowest kerbweights around, typically providing a body/payload allowance of 4,245kg on a 7.5-tonner so its payload potential is extremely impressive. Fuel economy from the 150hp tour-pot is also good.
An update due in the first quarter of 2006 will see a new Euro-4 compliant engine from Cummins using SCR technology.
