This Land-Rover lookalike is built in Spain and is a cheaper alternative to the more established names in the sector. It's fair to say that refinement falls slightly further down on the list of attributes when compared to modem pickups and other 4x4 variants. But its main selling point is its off-road prowess. Over even rugged terrain it digs in and there's a decent amount of torque available —275Nm —from its 2.8-litre engine.
What is surprising is that on the black-top it settles down in terms of ride quality. It's not all good news though as the gearshift and driving position leave something to be desired, but in the context of a true oft-road vehicle it produces the goods. On the practical side payload is below the one-tonne mark and load volume is 2.1m3.
