The three brands all benefit from the same vehicle in this sector. It has superb styling, fast and efficient engines and an extremely practical loading area. Well proportioned wheel track and excellent suspension set-up ensure the handling is more car-like than any van of its size.
Engines range from a 82hp, 1.9-litre commonrail turbo-diesel (dCi) to a 133hp 2.5-litre unit. The lowest power engine gets five-speed transmission, while the remainder use a sixspeed unit. The high roof version looks a bit ungainly, but greatly increases volume.
Service intervals for all three are every 18.000 miles: the mechanical warranties are three years/ 60,000 miles tor the Nissan/Renault and 100.000 miles/three years from Vauxhall. Wheelbase options give 1,023-1,212kg payloads.
