Led by the Transit, heavy vans are expecting many changes during the year, which we've covered where we can.

The world of heavy vans —that is those bigger than 'car-derived' up to 6.5 tonnes— begins the year in a state of expectation. More than half the models in the market place are due to he replaced or significantly revised during the year, with many making their public debuts at the NEC Commercial Vehicle show in April.

Of the new arrivals that are expected this year, one is the van brand that we have yet to see on the road, BMC.

Apart from the outgoing versions of these. we can finally wave goodbye to the LDV Pilot and, during the year. the remaining chassis-cab versions of the Convoy, as the Maxus becomes the sole LDV model.
