Unladen it fairly zips along thanks to the freespinning 1.4-litre unit serving up 68hp and user-friendly chassis. But throw in the cargo –the payload is rated at an ambitious 515kg – and the character changes into something more ponderous. with the rear suspension really feeling the pressure fully laden.
Standard equipment is high, along with the trim quality, and servicing intervals remain competitive. Unfortunately, long-journeys show up a rather uncomfortably firm driver's seat and overall refinement is not as developed as some.
