the Exchequer to .reduce corporate taxes and levies on the provision of services, and to increase funding for the transport infrastructure, as part of the organisation's submission for the spring budget. It has also asked for 100% capital allowances on investments of up to .250,000 to encourage small haulage firms to invest in new vehicles, arguing that this would improve services and safety standards. The threshold of the small companies' rate of corporation tax should be raised to at least 2250,000 and the rate set at 25%.
