• Autocatalyst specialist Johnson Matthey has signed an agreement with the Orbital Engine Company of Western Australia for the supply of catalysts to use with the Orbital Combustion Process (OCP) engine.
The OCP engine is an advanced power unit based on the two-stroke principle that is claimed to offer advantages in power, weight, size, and fuel consumption over equivalent Otto-cycle units. In June this year the Orbital Engine Company announced that it had entered into an agreement with the Ford Motor Company to give Ford access to the Australian company's technology.
