Birmingham City Magistrates for a third time last week, to answer charges brought against the company under the new hazchem regulations by the Health & Safety Executive.
The company is accused of failing to display a marker board and of failing to give the driver of the vehicle written instructions concerning the nature of the substances being carried, contrary to Regulations 11 and 6 of the Road Traffic (Carriage of Dangerous Substances in Packages) Regulations 1986. The case has been adjourned until February, when it will proceed in the company's absence if it fails once again to appear.
