Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• BRS Northern is extending its reefer rental scheme, law'. tiled in April last year, with a second depot. Its Hull branch will offer 12 Mercedes reefers — seven 17-tonners and five 7.5-tonners — on short-term rental from 1 February.

The scheme was started in Bolton with 16 vehicles. Hull branch manager Dudley Horner says he hopes to have 30 refrigerated vehicles running by the end of the year.

Fish distributors, who rely on chilled and frozen units, will form the bulk of the depot's customers, but Horner insists

that Hull has also been chosen for the second location because of its strong dry-freight customer base. "We have 73 dryfreight rental trucks out of a total fleet of 130," he says.

BRS has 40 depots in the North and it aims to expand the scheme further. All Hull's vehicles are bodied by Ray Solomon of Rossendale and supplied by Mercedes dealer Ensor of Manchester. Total investment on the scheme at the branch has been 2500,000.
