• Darlington Transport, which is currently mounting an employee buyout bid, has announced a profit for the second year running since its formation two years ago.
The results are said to be "as good as last year". In 1987, the company made an operating profit of 2350,000 on a turnover of 22.1 million with a nett profit of 2200,000.
