Members of the transportation section of Dyfed County Council are among those who have made their contribution to help keep the famine relief lorries running, and Freight Transport Association marketing and membership liaison controller Terry Barnes has made a welcome and personal donation.

Before the office closed for the Christmas break, a total of £5,242.50 had been contributed, and an auction of the Dodge 50 van donated by Renault Truck Industries on the Friday after Christmas yielded another £5,800 for the fund.

Details of our appeal fund, which will remain open a little longer, are on p26 this week. Our roll of honour of contributions will re-appear next week.
